If the police or Children's Protective Services contacted you and want to talk to you, I urge you to not go. It's important that you have a lawyer to protect your rights. These are very important times. The police are not looking to help you; they are looking to built a case against you. If you go talk to them, it could cost you your freedom.
I never recommend that a person talk to the police without consulting an attorney first. This is what I do for a living. If the police or CPS have contacted you, contact me first.
